Recognized for iconic roles like Robin Hood in The Siege Of Robin Hood and James Lowe in The Trigonal, Paul brings a unique blend of acting artistry and martial prowess to the screen.

Paul’s journey began early with local theatre, appearing in shows like Fame, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and High School Musical On Stage. His physical foundation also began early with immersion in Cop Den Do, a Vietnamese style of martial art. He honed his skills under the guidance of a seasoned member of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team, mastering the art of cinematic combat. This martial arts foundation has been instrumental in casting him in diverse, demanding and action-infused roles.

In Kung Fu Police, Paul portrayed the formidable Rembrandt, a character with a robotic arm and a thirst for frustrating law enforcement, no matter the cost. As James Lowe in The Trigonal, he undertook a physically demanding role, culminating in a breathtaking 15-minute MMA showdown in an underground tournament. Paul’s dedication went beyond the surface; he transformed his physique, adopted a Cockney accent, underwent significant daily prosthetics and skilfully demonstrated short and long stick combat, MMA grappling, boxing, and Kung Fu techniques. Beyond the film industry, Paul’s martial arts accolades include claiming the titles of State Champion (1st Place) and National Runner-Up (2nd Place) at the National All Styles Martial Arts Tournament.

Paul’s commitment extends beyond the camera lens. He diligently hones his craft in Wushu under the tutelage of Three-time World Champion Master Tang Lai Wei, an esteemed member of the legendary Beijing Wushu Team, alongside Jet Li, and is a prolific learner in the dramatic field. Most recently completing a 6 month acting intensive at the Howard Fine Acting Studio.  

In his quest to further increase his ability to deliver for directors, Paul undertook a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Film and Digital Media), graduating with Distinction from Deakin University.

Upon completion, venturing to China, Paul collaborated with industry luminaries such as Sam Hargrave (Extraction, Avengers Infinity War, Captain America Civil War), Wu Jing (SPL2), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widdow, Ghost In the Shell), Frank Grillo (The Grey, The Purge Anarchy), Milla Jovavich (The Fifth Element, The Rookies), Jackie Chan (Rush Hour, The Iron Mask), and Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator). Paul’s work encompassed dramatic acting, action sequences, and creature roles, notably contributing to the success of Wolf Warriors 2, which grossed over a billion USD worldwide and was an official selection at the 90th Academy Awards. 

Paul’s presence has also been noted in many other award-winning productions. These include Nominations for the International Emmy Award, Audience Choice AACTA Award, and wins in categories like the Grand Jury Award (Melbourne Web Series Festival), Best Feature Film (Veterans Film Festival), and Best Film Award (Toronto Female Eye Film Festival) which further underscore his impact on the industry.

Paul’s debut as a theatrical feature filmmaker with The Siege Of Robin Hood showcased his versatility, tenacity and skill as a writer, producer, and editor as well as a leading man. The project was well received enjoyed a strong theatrical release in the USA and Australia, and reached audiences in over 92 countries, courtesy of Saban Films and Kaleidoscope Distribution. This experience allows Paul to communicate and collaborate with film makers from a unique perspective. He aims to bring this deep and diverse experience of the craft to all roles he plays, and exceed the director’s expectations. 

Paul’s commitment to perpetual growth is reflected in his diverse skill set, encompassing Wushu kung fu, stunts, weapons and boxing, alongside proficiency in various activities, from horse riding to surfing. His mastery extends to accents, including USA (General, Southern), British (RP, Cockney), Russian, Australian and many more.
